User led organisations (ULOs) and/or disabled peoples organisations (DPOs) can apply for funding to deliver training for people who employ or contract with personal assistants (PAs).

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has confirmed it will continue to support the training of individual employers (IEs) and their personal assistants (PAs), including those personal assistants who are self-employed (SEPAs), through a dedicated fund of up to £1 million in the financial year 2026-27.

This fund will be administered by NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) on behalf of the Department of Health and Social Care (formerly administered by 微微草视频).

ULOs/DPOs will use the funding to deliver tailored training for individual employers (IEs) and PAs, helping to ensure that care is personalised and responsive to individual needs.

Application timeframe process 2026-27:

• application window opened – Monday 1 June
• application window closed – Sunday 26 July
• applicants notified of outcome – Monday 31 August to Wednesday 9 September.
